Harold and Kumar (eurotrip entry 2)
Our taxi driver’s brother in law lives in coquitlam. We made the unfortunate mistake of taking a cab to Palmer’s Lodge (our hostel), it was much too expensive.
We spent our first day making sense of the intricacies of the tubes. We went down to piccadilly circus and to oxford street and to the theatre district. We went by Freud’s museum but we didn’t have time to take a stroll through, although it did sound quite sexy.
You can see our photos, the general theme is straight-faced and solemn. I’m not sure who’s idea this was, but it is part of one of our many goals. Another goal is sleeping with a French girl while a song by the Jonas-Brothers is playing in the background. You’re probably wondering, why French? Well I’ll have you know that the girls are easiest in France. You’re also probably wondering, why the Jonas Brothers? Because I don’t think anyone has ever had sex with the Jonas-brothers playing in the background, making this quite the achievement.
Back at the hostel, Clarance went for a nap. I went outside to hoot narg with some random Germans. You can imagine that semi-awkward Nazi comments were made to set a friendly setting. We spent the rest of the time poking fun at almost every other race. They were rowdy and amicable.
In Guildford I was in good company; Will seemed to be incredibly polite amidst casual exchanges of mockery. I still don’t get what’s so funny about having articles on my wall. Either way, I know that I’ll be coming back to visit in the future. I hope Tag doesn’t grow any taller though, it’s bad enough having fatty cake William tower over me. To be perfectly sensitive, I do hope that you guys never change. You two, Will and Tag, better keep in touch when Will goes off to Charterhouse, and then Harvard. To Connie - I know you’ll be reading this - you have no idea how nice it was to see you, and it’s unfortunate that Nir and I didn’t get much more time to chill with you.
To those of you who don’t know Will and Tag and Connie
Will: Somehow weighs over 200 pounds, somehow got a scholarship to harvard, and somehow is the most popular guy in guildford. Somehow, none of those are understatements. To quote a Gabbot student: “Will Davies? He’s a legend”
Tag: He’s a smartass. When we first met he managed to think of the best insults, now he thinks of the best retorts. I’d very much like to see him debate Brown, I’d pay to see that. Tag is a genius. Tag and Will are like the main characters from superbad.
Connie: Connie is one of those people who do amazing things and then apologize afterwards. She’s also the type of person who I think shouldn’t ever change. Come to Vancouver Connie, everyone would love you here.
